When my family and students learned that I was planning a themed exhibition titled "Purrfect - Cats in Sumi-e by Joan Lok", I received many photos of their beloved pets for inspiration.  Adorable pet photos continued and many asked to have custom portraits made for their furry friends.

I will create original artwork with sumi-e ink and watercolors on rice paper.  The artwork will be wet-mounted onto a piece of 90 to140 lb watercolor paper, ready to be matted and framed.  Call for a quote, prices started at USD $200 for an 11"x14" artwork.  Contact me for a quote.
